Our new ownership team comprised of four dedicated and experienced Galletta managers became the new principals of the company in the sale executed by Nunzio Galletta, P.E., former President (BS and MS in Civil Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, 1949) and his partner, the late Felix Bombara, P.E., Vice President / Treasurer (BS in Civil Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, 1949). Galletta Engineering Corporation was founded in 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania bringing together the team of University of Pittsburgh Civil Engineering graduates. After 52 years in business the original owners completed the sale of the company effective January 1, 2008.

The new managing principals of Galletta Engineering have well over 100 years combined experience in the engineering and construction communities. The principals have had a variety of responsible positions directing engineering and construction activities throughout the continental United States and around the world prior to assuming management of the company.
